yes, it’s true. gawk at your screen in amazement – i’m back.

the last two months have been chock full of activity, both amazing and mundane, and while you may be expecting a blow-by-blow, this time i think i’ll pass. the quick and dirty version goes something like this:

  • Boy-o’s growing out of his clothes faster than i can buy them.
  • marriage – it’s never boring.
  • new job, new industry, more money, shorter drive.
  • new toys (digital camera and new PC)
  • home depot – “just can’t get enough”.this morning i went to an orientation session to get more information about the Breast Cancer 3-Day, benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. the event is a 60 mile walk that takes place over three days this june. while i am fortunate enough to not be walking in memory of someone, i will walk for a whole host of other reasons. 2005 is the year that i am taking my well-tuned social consicience and using it to do something other than bitch. in order to participate, i must raise a minimum of $2,100. don’t worry, i’ll have a donation link up soon enough!

let’s see, other news…oh, we’re going to the duran duran concert at the end of february. i’m so excited! i haven’t been to a concert in forever.

ok, i’m exhausted, so i’m keeping this short. good night.

    Punk Mama

You’re a punk rock mommy! DIY is probably your

motto, because you’re a punk mama at heart.

Your kids are getting your independent spirit

and guts, and learning to solve problems

themselves. You love it when they show their

independence, even when it’s breaking your

    heart.

    this year i will: January 1, 2005

    1. redecorate our bedroom in a medieval gothic style on the cheap

    2. take a 45 minute walk at least 3 times a week

    3. take lots of pictures

    4. begin studying the feasibility of law school…or possibly seminary

    5. keep my student loans in a deferred status, so that when i need to take out more to go back to school it won’t be a problem

    6. create a plan to address my credit issues

there you go…3 “fun” (exercise is fun, isn’t it?) things and 3 “self-improvement” things.
